Using Set Zero Priced Orders

The Set Zero Priced Orders is used to identify sales orders for product-type items that have been entered with a zero dollar selling price which have not yet been priced when the Delayed Pricing is set to Y (Y=yes) in Sales Options and the sales order was entered as "Price Later". It is also used to compare the selling price against the low and high price range for product type items set in Pricing Setup. The items or sales orders are presented in a list format so that the items can quickly be priced as you scroll down the list.

1. At the Sort (I/O) field, enter the sort order for the report.

• I – Select I (I=item) to generate the report for product-type items, sorted by item code, with a list of the sales orders with a zero selling price outside the low-high selling price range.
• O – Select O (O=order) to generate the report by sales order number and list the items with a zero selling price, items set to "price later", or with a selling price outside the low-high selling price range.

2. Enter the ship date in the Ship Date field or press Enter to accept the system default date – today's date.

3. The system will find all sales orders with a zero selling price, those set to "price later", or those with a selling price outside the low-high selling price range. If no zero priced line items exist, the following message will display: "No zero price items found! Press space bar."

The following information will display if sales orders with a zero selling price are found:

• Item – The item code
• Name – The item name
• Order – The sales order number
• Cust – The customer ship-to ID
• Quantity Ordered – The quantity ordered in the invoicing unit of measure
• Price – The current selling price
• New Price – This column is used to enter a new selling price for the item.

Command options will appear:

• Change – Select Change to enter or change the selling price. The price column will open up, allowing a new selling price to be entered.
• Update – Select Update to save the changes made to the selling price
• Print – Select print to print the Zero Price Check report. See Printing Zero Priced Orders for more information.
• Exit – Select Exit to exit the zero price check and return to Sort (I/O) field without saving any changes.
